  • Women of Liberty Biggest Loser 2012
    LBC Biggest Loser Challenge
    It’s back! LBC Biggest Loser Challenge is back! It is time to get physically and mentally fit for 2012.
    If you’re struggling with being overweight--and thousands of Alabamians are—it is important to know that you really can lose unwanted pounds and gain better health.
    Liberty Baptist is your official weigh-in site. Biggest Loser is a free, confidential program.

  • Couple's Ministry - 
     “Sweetheart Ball”
    The cost this year will be $100.00 per couple. The date is Friday February 10, 2012, at the Embassy Suites on Hwy 150 in Hoover.

  • Weekend Warriors. If you would like to join the Men of Liberty for some community service with yard work, please contact Gary Wright (gwright@volkert.com) or Rayford Coleman (Coleman269146@Bellsouth.net) for more information.  This volunteer opportunity will start this weekend.  Thanks for your assistance!
  • Youth Choir Rehearsal. Saturdays before the 2nd Sunday each month.
  • Volunteers are needed for teaching and preparing food for CRUNKK Night.  If you are interested, please contact Keandra Simmons. CRUNKK Night held each Wednesday @ 6:30 p.m.

  • Wednesday Evening Bible Study.  Every Wednesday evening @ 6:30 p.m.
  • Crunkk Night (Youth Bible Study). Each Wednesday @ 6:30 p.m.
  • Seniors in Action every Tuesday at 11:00 am in the trailer

Ministry Highlight . . .

Jail Ministry
Women interested in serving in this ministry will meet at the Shelby County Jail every 2nd Saturday of the month.  If you are interested in ministering to the women who are incarcerated, please contact Rev. Nina Johnson.
 
Serving in a Ministry
If you are interested in serving in any ministry at LBC, check out the Ministry Outline and contact the appropriate coordinator.  Serving Christ with your heart is what blesses your ministry.
 
Youth Ministry
The Youth Ministry is in need of volunteers to teach and provide food for Crunkk Night.  Crunkk Night is held each Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.  If you are interested in volunteering, please see Keandra Simmons.
